the leaves dont look like a kiwi to me but i am not good with them. i tried growing them and the montana winter killed them off. you might do better where you live. but unless its the japenese hybrid it needs a male and female plant to pollinize or you wont get fruit. i dont know how to tell them apart. maybe your friend does.
takes about four to seven years to get fruit.
