Default 3/6, turn/river play

Live 3/6, 9 handed

Tight, decent player limps UTG. Two more limpers, I raise on button w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB and BB call, limpers all call.

Flop:
A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (10 sb)

Blinds check, UTG bets, first limper folds and second limper calls. I raise, blinds fold, two calls.

Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (8 bb)

Checked to me, I bet. Two calls.

River 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (11 bb)

Checked to me, I check.

I play hand the exact same way except I bet/call the river. I think turn is an easy bet, you're probably ahead and you have lottsa outs if you're not. River I think is an easy value bet, isn't it? You'll get called by any Ax.

I think your preflop and flop raises are good. I think the turn bet is good. You likely have the best hand, and have the draw to the best possible hand. No reason to let them draw against you for free. I think you should have value bet the river. Many worse holdings will call you with this size pot IMO.

I usually bet the river, although I wouldn't be shocked if UTG shows you AK or AQ here, so I think a check is understandable with him in the hand, but you should bet against random players. Anyone who had two pair would have raised you at some point because of the possible flush draw, so you are only worried about A2, 45, and 32 (and possibly 82, though unlikely). Hands like 82 and 32 often won't raise you on the river and A2 might not.

Bet folding is the bomb in low limit live stakes. After an hour you know which people only raise two pair and up. Lot of calls of worse aces coming here. UTG can easily have some KQh combination.

Checking the turn would be horribly weak.

If UTG is really is solid, he would have put in a raise somewhere if he has you beat. If he has AQ or two pair/better, then thank him for being so weak and letting you off cheaply.
