Re: stars mill early AA
Flop raise to at least @ 1500, shove turn.

Re: stars mill early AA
Flop raise is too small for sure, make it ~1500 as most have said already.
Your mini-raise, as well as giving him better odds to call, kind of gives away the strength of your hand here (given that you've also opened from ep). If I'm the villain, I'm putting you on a big pair a lot of the time here and, deep stacked, calling with open-ended straight draws and one pair/gutshot draw type hands to stack you if I hit the turn. I don't think I shove this turn. Might have been better if you hadn't posted the results. Might not have influenced any of the people who have already said shove the turn, but it will some because you were ahead at that point and, yes, he'd probably have folded to a shove. However I think if I'd raised it to 1500 on the flop and got called I would be worried about being behind already and inclined to check behind and call a reasonable river bet, or bet the river if checked to. Maybe checking behind on the turn is weak here but I don't like shoving my entire stack into what may already be a stronger hand. |
