This is the kind of stuff that would make me eat oranges every day just to piss the teachers off. No vodka, just oranges... can they ban fruit from schools?

We used dump vodka into a watermelon, but I guess it'd be tuff to eat between classes.

They did this at my middle and high school back in the mid 90's. Although they weren't banned, teachers would smell every orange they saw to make sure it wasn't loaded.

Back in my day, we'd just leave at lunch and hit up the pool hall and get our drink on there or park go across the street and sit in another parking lot off campus and get drunk. I remember getting hammered at 7:30 a.m. before a chemistry exam. Not the best idea. Good times. 13 years later, I just realized I was an idiot.

I teach history and politics at a secondary school. (junior high and high school combined).

I just got a memo from the school office which all staff were to read.

It asked all staff to be on the lookout for students eating oranges in the school or on school property.

Why oranges you ask?

Because apparently kids at the school have begun injecting oranges with vodka and are getting piss drunk between classes and at lunch by eating them.

I am only 25 so I am not far removed from a time when alcohol was not allowed. That being said, I can never remember anyone I know or heard of doing this.

Has anyone?

did this back in 80's (sister was/is a diabetic) Works amazingly well..
