I didn't get much past the first chapter. I didn't like it, YMMV.

I have bought the book, but I have never finished it. How good is your pot limit holdem? is not worth buying.

I have around 40 poker books and I have completily read all but 2 books.

On the hand How good is your pot limit Omaha? and How good is your limit Holdem? are excellent books.

How Good is your Limit Holdem is an excellent book.

How Good is your Pot Limit Omaha is a frustrating exercise in the pedagogy of "guess what I'm thinking" followed by little or no logical explanation. Reuben is a very frustrating writer and I expect that his work in the Pot Limit Holdem book is no different, though I have not read it.

Reuben is a great poker teacher. However, I am glad you think he is terrible and I hope more people share your view.
PS: The same goes for Bob Ciaffone.

I got upset by some fold KK preflop discussion and didn't feel like reading more of it. (By the way, I do think PL&NL poker is very good.

I did not say he was terrible in the slightest. I said that I found the logic and explanations used in the PLO book to be frustrating. There's a difference.

ive read throught the whole book.

the most frustrating thing about it is how you have to flip back a couple pages to find the score (or answers) to the problems during the hand.

i agree it didn't really teach alot, but as far as hand examples go it was good (i guess, that's all it was was hand examples)

if your a PLO player id say pick it up even though it is not very informative. it won't make you a great PLO player or anything. I feel like the definitive work on PLO has yet to be written. The section is SS2 was sort of elementary (not to a new player however). I have only read parts about the Tom Mcevoy book it seemed pretty good if you want to learn PLO, and the small yellow ciaffone book is alright to.

however all these books never talk about the other stuff that goes on during the game. i don't think in ANY of those books they even mention a thing about controlling the size of the pot, and the call-steal which i think are 2 of themost important concepts to this game (especailly pot control)
