I played in middle school and high school. Always caught crap for it from from the rest of the basketball team. I had pretty good skills with girls and still do.
Quit when I got to college. Was seriously considering getting heavy into because I was in Pittsburgh and there is/was a huge contingent of players at CMU. Then I walked into the student lounge one day, people were playing poker...haven't given MTG serious consideration since.

I hover around 1900+ constructed. Game was fun, played competitively, stopped and then now starting again to play in GP:SF b/c I said I would if the Spurs won this one game I bet like 200 on.

Beat: Played a ton in high school.
Brag: Made a few Pto tours. 18th was highest finish. Brag: Quit once I was in college. Started drinking more and man whoring. Beat: Still play occasionally online. Variance: never would have gotten into poker without mtg.

Played at a local place from ages 12-14. I quit a few months after 7th ed. came out.
Brag: I won a few times with my POS cards. Pwned tons of fires decks with my enchantress deck. Beat: somehow managed to put a whole, expensive, rebel deck through the wash [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] wished i gambooled with noobs more
