It's not final but the press is reporting that they're close to terms (sort of like ManU and Hargreaves)

Also, Arsenal have been linked with Malouda as well.

There is also a rumor that Arsenal are attempting to sign Andres Guardado from Atlas(Mexico). ManU are supposedly also interested.

United agree to sign 19 year old Brazilian Anderson from Porto. Anyone know anything about him?

Also, rumors spreading that Barcelona are offering Arsenal Eto'o plus 17 million pounds for Henry. Henry didn't completely deny it either, he simply said "I'm an Arsenal player for now."

anderson is an attacking midfielder and has been compared to ronaldinho. He was sick at the U-17 WC two or three years ago and has an insane amount of talent. From the little I've seen, his style can definetly translate to England as he has the body to handle the physical side. He is also right now in the Brazil squad

We also just signed sporting Lisbon's left winger, Nani, which brings our summer spending already to 50m GBP. I still wish we had been able to get Gareth Bale and am holding out hope that we will possibly swing 5m GBP for David Nugent
