Re: **** OFFICIAL Premiership 2007-08 season Thread!*****

[ QUOTE ] "I've never felt more like singing the Blues when City win and united lose" Personally I'm loving that the media continue to ignore City. We are invincible at home and Sven has the cash to buy a world class striker in January. Not to mention Bojinov will be fit again by then and he has skill in abundance. Onwards and upwards. [/ QUOTE ] they continue to ignore them because they are a meh team. Will finish in the top 6 but nothing more. Which 'world class' striker is he going to be able to buy exactly? [/ QUOTE ] do you really think that the blue crap will end up in the top 6? I'd have to see it to believe it as it is city we're talking about |

That group right behind the top 4 is pretty tight. Everton, Pompy, City, Blackburn. Top 6 is a tough bet, but surely top of the table is in order for City. [censored], they might even slip in to top 4 when its all said and done.

You're simply expressing your bias like a typical rags fan. Based on the last 5 seasons 59 points is required to finish 6th which is 1.55 points per game. City are averaging 2.07. 1.7 points is usually enough for top 4. I think that's slightly more relevant than your pseudo-hatred of City. Oh and as Fergiescum says this is United's best ever squad how does it feel to be only one point ahead after 14 games? LOL |

Re: **** OFFICIAL Premiership 2007-08 season Thread!*****
no mention of this:
Portsmouth have confirmed that their manager, Harry Redknapp, was one of the five people arrested today as part of the City of London's investigation into football corruption. Redknapp was held at Chichester police station on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting. Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric, Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie, agent Willie McKay and Charlton midfielder Amdy Faye were the others arrested. The five were held in pre-dawn raids after more than 60 police officers searched eight addresses across the UK. |

Not surprised about Harry his old school goes back to the days when it was standard, and he has always made a lot of signing at every club his been at.
I’m thrilled at the arrest of Willie McKay who has stirred up trouble and got players to put in transfer requests just so he can collect 10% notably Anelka and Barton. |
