Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: t3610
UTG+1: t7955

Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
5 folds, SB calls t50 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was t150)</font>, Hero checks.

Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (t200, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets t100</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to t300</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB raises to t1200</font>, Hero?

does hero think that you put him on a steal enough....any other BvB hands even during the rebuy period.

very close between call and fold.

I'd call and see how cheep I can get to a showdown unimproved.

If you get it AI, I think it's about a 50/50 proposition that he shows the better hand or J8, AA/KK, 109. So, you are probably better off calling and with 2400 in the pot, making a decision on the turn to get it AI/fold depending on SB's action.

I think I'd call here..I mean this could be QJ or T9, but it could also be J8, just a Q, or something strange. I don't think I'm calling a big turn bet UI.

you're saying if the turn is a 2h (it wasn't) and he leads 1800 you're folding? that seems a little weak/tight to me.

Is turn probably won't define his range a little better, but it will give you good odds to call against a range that doesn't only include hands that beat yours.

You are probably exercising pot control for the rest of the hand while having him do the bidding for you, but I don't see how you can possibly lay down a fairly large range of turns.
