Villain seems solid/taggy, not any history that I can think of.

why not bet the flop? You've under rep your hand and i dont think villain can put you on a A here. I call rvr with all the busted draws out there.

The board is drawy and I can't stand a checkraise so I check behind hoping to get to showdown somewhat cheaply and possibly induce a bluff or get some extra value out of my hand.

Flop check is fine. Turn is really sick though. I think your hand is fairly under-repped, so I might call this. Although, take that FWIW because I'm a huge station.

he had trips. the minraise on the turn gives it away IMO.
