It's hard not to be nicer than OOT.

About the only place I've come across (edit: that's meaner than OOT) was a large building with beautiful colored glass windows, where the people were impeccably dressed, but they just couldn't say a kind word about anyone ... "look at her dress, it's so raggy." "They need to get their kid a haircut." "Did you hear about the fight they had last week?" They didn't even like the sermon. Guess it hit too close to home ...

Not to say there aren't good ones out there, but the ones I've been to have been full of obnoxious, pompous, nose-in-the-air idiots.

Hell, the best church I've ever been to had a pastor who gave great sermons ... really touched home on a lot of things that actually happen everyday and gave good advice. The elders ran him off, and the new guy is terrible. Makes me sad.
