roto can be based on different things but typically its on point accumulation based on the categories as an entire league. With head to head (or HU as we love to call it here), you play one individual team every week and your rankings are based first on your record and THEN on points accumulated in the event of tied records (in roto there arent weekly head to head matches).

I'd love to be in this. And I vote for HU as well. While roto may be less "variance", HU is way more fun.

So far, there's 11 people interested in the league.

I think 14 would make the league really interesting, so it seems like that would work out.

I also like the idea of a March 18th draft, which would give us about 2 weeks before the start of the tournament. Pudge may have to pre-rank so he can focus on pwning all the Sunday donkaments, but I think it would work for the rest of us.

I'm still kinda undecided on HU vs. roto. The idea of having a pitcher pitch twice in a week versus once seems really unfair/stupid to me, plus some teams may only play 5 games in a week versus 7. However, I do like the idea of trash talk, etc. I'm not too concerned though either way.

here is the list. i would like to get it finalized soon so i could setup a league and get everything together before the draft (basically payment).

In my past experience this all evens out really. i guess the only thing to be concerned about is if you draft all your players from the same team.
Another thing is Hu usually holds peoples interest better, and any team can make a late season comeback. In roto, there are many times where you are just so far behind in some categories, it's just not possible to do anythign about.

I have some preferences, but honestly I'll do it however you guys decide.

HU
if we have 14 teams, I'm hoping we don't make them so deep it's hard to find a pickup when you get injuries. If we do then it becomes a push/fold preflop game (draft)
