1998 Main Event Scotty Wynn Victory...

At the end of the heads up match where scotty wins with a full house, he celebrates with a beer as usual. As he makes his way to the crowd, you see Mike Matasow going crazy with his hands in the air screaming, "WE DID IT MAN!!!!!!" And gives scotty a high five jumping up and down. What is up with that? Was he real close with wynn back then or something?? Was confused why Matasow was so happy and over run with emotion. Anyone have any insight to that at all? The clip is on youtube as well.

Nguyen... not Wynn... it is by far the most common Vietnamese last name.

Nah, seems more likely they swapped percentages. Nguyen shouldn't be in need of backers at that time.

I love when Wynn's opponent pushed all in and went to the bathroom. Wynn didn't know what to do!
