I guess I don't understand the difference between getting AI on the flop in a WA/WB situation and getting all in on the turn in a WA/WB situation. Have we agreed that we're getting AI at some point in the hand when villain bets $6 into an $8 pot?

I guess I don't understand the difference between getting AI on the flop in a WA/WB situation and getting all in on the turn in a WA/WB situation. Have we agreed that we're getting AI at some point in the hand when villain bets $6 into an $8 pot?

I think we fold out possible holdings that will fold to a flop shove 22-99 excluding the floped set

it's not strictly true that he flods everything we beat to a shove (he may call with QQ-99) and he may well have a ten.

You are missing the point, sure he can have QQ-99 but his range is more so balanced to 22-99. If has a ten its a cooler.

I just don't like that expression fold everything we beat, and call with everything that beats us. There is a grey area and imo that is where the true skill of poker is.
