BBC: Israel attacked USS Liberty to goad US into nuking Cairo

Just found an interesting article about Israeli preplanned bombardment of an American ship - to bring the USA into war against Egypt.
To those who support nuclear attack against Iran - to think about how close the Middle East came to nuclear devastation 40 years ago. A nuclear attack of Cairo was recalled by US Defence Secretary just minutes before fighter jets could drop their load.
