Default 25/50 at bellagio AA on good board but really deep

i usually hate posting live hands because they are always so read based, whereas online hands are generally math based but i figured id give it a go today.

bellagio 25/50nl 9 handed. villain starts the hand with 15k, i cover.

im new to this table so i dont really have any strong reads. the guy on my left is a younger kid who looks like he can handle himself and the villain in the hand is a stereotypical fish. an older, strange looking guy who ive never seen before who seems a little cooky.

i raise UTG to 200 with AA, UTG+1 calls, CO calls, blinds fold.

flop is J75r

i bet 600, UTG+1 calls, CO calls.

turn is another offsuit 5 ($2475)

i check, UTG+1 checks, CO bets $3000

when the CO bet $3000, he immediately looked down at his chips and then looked right back up to avoid detection which generally tells me that he cant wait to get the chips in the middle. then though, he leaned back in his chair and interlaced his fingers which is generally a sign of weakness. i took a while to make my decision and he didnt seem to give off any other signs of weakness other than this. he actually seemed pretty confident in his chair.

when i checked the turn i was hoping to get someone to bite and bet out, but when a guy overbets the pot and is playing really deep its really scary. ive played live nl mostly on the east coast and when they bet huge like this its usually a made hand, is it different on the west coast? if i call the turn bet do i call an 8k+ bet on the river?

I've only played in that game a few times but I mostly play the 10/20 at Bellagio.

Like you said, this is totally read dependant.

Another consideration: Are you studying the UTG+1 player? What does he look like he wants to do since you'd really really hate to call this bet and then have him do anything other than fold. His interest and reactions are almost as important as the CO who is betting IMO.

Usually the first tell is the most accurate one, especially if it's something that he did quickly and then did something after which is more prolonged, like leaning back and interlacing his fingers. I'd give more weight to the intitial chip glance here. That tell combined with any perceived interest from the UTG+1 player and I'm gonna lean towards folding.

By description this sound like the kind of live player that would think AJ is the nuts after then turn goes check check, he bets to take down the pot and is suddenly uncomfortable with his 3k lying out there.

what about check/call + block bet river

i get it, lol shortstackers

I really think calling a huge river bet is bad...... But as played i think you need to call to see the river action

I wouldnt call here but if I have a read on both I may raise. Regardless your fold here is okay.

I usually go with a lean back in chair is comfort with one's position (the hand interlacing is weak) BUT your first read is usually the best (it is all that stored experience that the subconscious acts on immediately).

The UTG+1 worries me if your read is correct, but then again could the CO have the skill to make a squeeze play ?

I hate these hands where fish get involved but there are real players in the middle as well and in this case I dont really want to commit my stack (if you call $3k what are you gonna do on a river with no ACE) with just one pair and an idiot in the hand.

I am leaning towards this:

Based on your initial read/"then sudden change in comfort".....its tough to get away from this hand.
Mike, what did you put the villian after his flop bet?

As played check/call.
