Default 100NL - AA OOP vs a bad bad board

I have only 56 hands on the villain

17.86/7

I had seen only 1 hand of his go to showdown and he had pot'ed 97s UTG and cbet MP (other player was short and AI at this point)

I obviously felt weak throughout the hand and I feel I did myself a dis-favour in not betting stronger, however what are other people's thought's on the hand?

Does anyone make a crying river call once I get there?

do you think betting more on the flop or turn would make a difference on the river?

c/c flop is very weak imo, what info do you learn? Pound flop, nothin wrong with turn bet cuz lots of draws. No value in betting the river.

yeah river is a pretty easy check/fold. Not hard to balance that cuz u'll have a bunch of two pair hands on the end a lot of he time. Not to mention he looks like a busted FD.
