It's beatable as long as all your opponents are terrible (which is usually the case). But if you put just 3 decent players at the table (you plus 2 others, assuming you're a decent player) and it's unbeatable. The house sucks the calling stations dry so fast you'll struggle to break even.

I still go to the Melbourne Greyhound track every now and then if I need a break from online. It's a fun diversion. But if you're trying to build a bankroll it's not the place to be.
