Finance - type jobs... no experience...

So it looks like I've reached a breaking point with my current job/boss, and am ready to start looking for a new job.

I've kicked around a lot of ideas, and am leaning heavily towards trying the finance field.

I'm most interested in analyst/research/quant type jobs, but am open to hearing about anything I have a chance at getting.

Unfortunately, I have no direct finance experience. I have a degree in engineering, so I'm hoping I can somehow leverage this for the quant-type positions.

Any tips on finding an entry level position that would train on the job? Any certain paths better than others?
