Set in multiway pot
No much read on the table.
Do you call or raise the flop ? Party Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LeggoPoker Hand History Converter UTG: $225.10 MP: $232.75 CO: $440.50 BTN: $199 Hero (SB): $198 BB: $253.10 Pre-Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB) <font color="red">UTG raises to $7</font>, MP calls $7, 2 folds, Hero calls $6, BB calls $5 Flop: ($28) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players) Hero checks, BB checks, <font color="red">UTG bets $20</font>, MP folds If you raise I suppose you bet the turn, but if you call how do you play if the turn is a) a blank b) an ace |

Re: Set in multiway pot
i like to lead on the flop when its 4 handed, would really suck if UTG checks and no one puts money in.
Sicne UTG bet id probably c/r to 60 |

I would probably just call T9 in that spot [/ QUOTE ] well i prefer raising but if you just call then you probably need to lead any turn. |

Re: Set in multiway pot
You can call quick here, like you have JT/J9s/99 type hand. The problem with this pot being four way and you deciding to c/c flop is that it shows more strength than if it went to flop HU. So as played c/r flop 3x and lead turn for 2/3.
Better though in 4 way pot to lead flop. The exception is if pfr is directly to your left. |
