Pretty sure there is no way to transfer on WPEX.

Not sure but Samp15555 is on MH's last scammer list. If you guys (not you Clamper) aren't at least going to check the scammer list posted in THIS VERY THREAD, well, it's not a surprise to see you get scammed.

Okay, so I now realize SAMP15555 is a scammer. This thread is soooooo long it would be EXTREMELY difficult to search the entire thread looking for the name.
A sugestion to the moderator, start another thread, or better yet, a post that cannot be added to, except by you, with the names of scammers. That would be much easier to deal with then 155 pages looking for a scammer.
Anyhow, I appreciate the attempts at helping us avoid scams. Funny thing is, I have been playing online poker for 4 or years now and this is the FIRST time I have tried any kind of transaction with someone i didnt know. Doesnt speak well to the generall honesty level out there.

That's what the search function is for. I just tried it...I entered samp15555 in the search terms, changed NOTHING else, and found his name on MH's scammer list.

Although your ideas are good, there are already three basic things everyone should do before making a trade with an unknown:

1) Find MH's latest scammer list...he reposts it in this thread every few days.
2) Use the search function on 2+2 for any of the potential trader's screen names you have.
3) Google any of the potential trader's screen names you have.

Of course there are many other basic precautions that have been listed here previously (get personal info, have them sit at a table with money, etc, etc), but the 3 things listed above are a basic way to avoid the known scammers. If you do those things, there's really no excuse for being scammed by someone who has been caught red-handed before.

I think it speaks more about how easy it is to get over on people that are too impatient to spend three minutes investigating the person they are trading with.
