Re: So, What are you grilling this weekend?
meatloaf:
2lbs ground chuck, italian bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt, tabasco, jalapenos, ketchup, ground pepper, paprika, onions, bleu cheese. no measuring, just throw in as much as you feel necessary (too much is better than too little) top with bacon, cook at 350 for 55 minutes. switch to broiler, top with a bunch of american cheese, broil for 5 minutes delicious |

Re: So, What are you grilling this weekend?
I'm a loser and don't have anywhere to go for Memorial Day, so it'll just be me, George Foreman and some kielbasa.

Re: So, What are you grilling this weekend?
All of the food listed sounds so ridiculously good. I wasn’t planning on doing anything but I might have to set something up.

Re: So, What are you grilling this weekend?
I'm going to try to grill some fruits as described in Alton Brown's book.

Re: So, What are you grilling this weekend?
Anyone ever try stuffing hamburgers with cheese? I might try that on Monday for giggles to see how it turns out.

Re: So, What are you grilling this weekend?
Stuffed burgers aren't my favorite --- I think they become almost too thick (tough to handle.) However, flavor-wise I think stuffing burgers with the following is pretty damn good:
sauteed mushrooms/onions bacon gorgonzola cheese Go relatively light on the gorgonzola as it is a pretty flavorful cheese |

elwood,
I wasn't even thinking that far but that sounds awesome. As for the bacon, how am I preparing it beforehand? |
