Default nintendo ds lite

my favorite video games are tetris, and n64 super mario kart. I never play video games at home but am thinking it might be fun to get one of these to pass the time during long flights/trips. give this info, should I get a ds lite?

i got one recently. its fun but controls are a little hard to handle for games like mariokart. brain age is fun, but i can see how it can get boring after a couple weeks.

i rarely play any video games, but just decided to check this out, heard many good things and it's worth it, as it's only $129.

I actually bought one of these for my wife for her birthday - hey, she ASKED for it! I now play it more than her, but whatever. This was the first gaming system of any sort hat I have bought since probably the original PlayStation. We only have NewSMB and Tetris, but both are fun and I love the DS overall. Recommended.

I'm loving mine, and I only have 2 games so far. New Super Mario Brothers and Animal Crossing.

I have one and I think its pretty awesome. Lots of fun games and the unit itself is really well designed and its a convenient great way to kill time on trips and stuff.

I was asking my roommate about his yesterday. I think he said ~15 hours on the lowest brightness setting. This setting may be worthless in certain environments I imagine.

I've been debating getting one for a few months now. Every time I have had the opportunity I think, "Eh, will I ever really play it?"

DS lite is great.

Anyone up for a match of tetris or mariokart?
