my thought was that this is a marginal (aka gross) spot with 78 on the flop. bottom set is a definate call.

i had top two. his line was strange. the way he was playing, the river isn't a bluff and he's probably going to get more money in earlier with good but vulnerable hands. was thinking he might play a2 like this. fwiw i think AT pretty much equals A9 in this situation v this type of opponent.
