Re: More progress on WVA poker
[ QUOTE ]
How far is Charlestown from DC? I would love to see this happen - I wonder what type of limits would be spread. Jeff [/ QUOTE ] Jeff, i've gotten out to the track there in under an hour...this city boy might have to buy a car if this goes through! |

How far is Charlestown from DC? I would love to see this happen - I wonder what type of limits would be spread. Jeff [/ QUOTE ] It's 50 minutes from the main toll plaza on 267 (non rush hour, of course). For almost a year, I commuted to Tysons Corner. I REALLY hope the Virgina goes ahead and widens route 9, otherwise that road is going to be a parking lot for everyone coming to play some cards. It's already bad enough as it is. I live in Charles Town. Apparently, the latest changes to the bill has not been to the liking of our local politicians, since they think it hurts the ponies. http://www.journal-news.net/news/art...articleID=7464 |

Re: More progress on WVA poker
Since you can play slots at 18 there, will you be allowed to play the table games at 18 as well?
Is Huntington's Dog Track going to be included in this bill? |
