w/e. what exactly do you know about a woman's physiology. being one yourself. no. i am. so stfu. i know a ton of people that diet- males & females- over 30, that do not lose MUCH weight until they start excercising regularly. PERIOD.

People have remarked on what I order at the casino: Egg whites and steamed broccoli, fish and vegetables, salad with chicken. I'm pretty careful of what I eat almost always and I really ought to be losing weight but its not working.

Obviously anyone can lose weight by dieting. But some people end up losing more muscle than fat if they just run a caloric deficit and do no exercise. IE someone like me with a really crappy metabolism. If I don't exercise and just diet - I'll lose weight if I eat like 1.5 small meals/day. Otherwise I just maintain. Not healthy.

It's gonna be pretty hard for me to buy a book called 'skinny bitch'. Maybe I can read it while sitting at the Starbucks inside Barnes & Noble.

In other news: 'Howard the hypocrite' just got back from dinner at Morton's: Smoked salmon, Shrimp cocktail (shared w/ mom), chopped salad, Porterhouse (med. rare), the claws from Mom's lobster, asparagus, spinach and mushrooms, garlic mashed potatoes and S&S cheesecake. Plus the bread and, oh yeah, coffee w/ Bailey's.

I might as well admit to half a bag of popcorn while watching 'The Heartbreak Kid' which is only so-so.

Back on the diet tomorrow.

yes, they can. if a human stops eating they will lose weight, then die. given this and other basic facts, it should be obvious that a mere restriction of intake can achieve weight loss without causing harm.

ya know what- NO i'm not the dumb one here. In fact i've been educated repeatedly about this sh!t since i was 8 years old and got juvenile diabetes. Read ALLLLLL my other posts- i'm never a bitch. This is ONE thing i damn frekin sure as hell that i KNOW the f-ck about. it's personal to me b/c i rarely tell people i'm diabetic.

ALL i started out to do in this ridiculous thread, was help some poor fat dude lose f---ing weight.
