shove preflop for the exact reason that you dont want to end up in a postflop situation like that.
If you play like this you will still lose to all the hands that have you crushed, plus allow other hands to catch up and know that they are ahead while you have no clue where you stand.
That said, cr is still better than open push from a value perspective.

btw, you're not exactly rooting for AK to call here, DUCY?

I don't mind it all. People tend to shy away from jams pre in sats due to general strategy.

The problem with the C/R is that you have no FE. Still better than an open push, as chh said, but I think it's the best move here.

chh, understood on all points.

I dont really mind not having a ton of FE here. I decided to play this c/r if no A/K hit the board, and this isnt the worst flop to get looked up by AK on a c/r

I think open pushing is worse than c/r.

Ill let him take an 8 out draw with me having redraws no matter what he hits (albiet slim redraws, but there all the same) to get his 1k v betting and letting him get away from worse and shove with better.

gah i guess i just get stacked here and call it a day.
