Default Sushi in Vegas

Best spots to get good Sushi in Vegas? Preferably center strip.

Probably been covered before, but I searched and could not find it. Thanks in advance...

Sushi Roku?

The Social House is excellent. It's quite classy so dress nice.

Magician: thanks for the reccommendation. I'm from the Bay Area also, so I know you have good taste.

I think I'm looking for something more casual than Social House though. This would be for a late lunch/business meeting...

Is Sushi Roku any good? Or too... "SoCal" (for lack of a better phrase)?

The only sushi place i've actually eaten at is Social House, so I can't say for sure, but other people have told me Roku is pretty good.

In my opinion, Social House is semi-casual, you don't have to be dressed up, you just can't show up in shorts and a t-shirt. They encourage sharing dishes and a friendly, "Social" atmosphere. But they don't open til 5, so it'd be more an early dinner than late lunch.

And I'm not trying to push you there or anything, its just the only place i've actually eaten at. I think you'll be fairly safe at almost any place on the strip.

Sushi Roku (Caesars) and Nobu (Hard Rock) are both good. Sushi Mon is fun for all-you-can-eat.

If you are willing to leave the strip there is a great sushi place on W Sahara (not terribly far from the strip) called Osaka. http://www.lasvegas-sushi.com/

Raw fish. In the desert. In a land-locked state. Um.

You're from the land of cheap and plentiful delicious sushi. Why not try something different in Vegas? I can recommend the Brazilian BBQ at the Mirage, much better than whatever that place is on Market in SF.
