betting draws..
am i just not thinking right?
I see people CONSTANTLY betting their draws, regardless of how strong or not-so-strong...this seems like a losing play to me, or am I wrong? FYI - .05 / .10 on 'Stars |

Re: betting draws..
Betting draws is not a bad play if you have a very good draw to the nuts, and you can knockout competing draws. betting your draw can ensure that there is money in the pot when you hit. That said, betting your draws without a concept of the strength of your position/draw/ opponent's hand is very dangerous.

Re: betting draws..
STOP BETTING THE 2ND STRAIGHT DRAW WITH NO OTHER DRAW
gahhhh htf do you deal with these idiots who can't drop a f'n hand after betting the less then nut draw, just f'n fold if they bet and you've got top two pair? I'm almost positive every single time one of these morons bets their non-nut draw they f'n get there and can't fold. Is it just the limit I am at or?! |

Re: betting draws..
Maybe you need to work on learning to fold when the draws get there.

Re: betting draws..
Oh I do fold because its deadly obvious most of the time - people do nothing but bet their draws no matter how good or bad, other times the pot is like 25BB and they minbet or minbet x 2 so I'll pay them off - never know they could be idiots trying to represent it without having it and are trying to be "sneaky" and investing very little. Whats .20 when I've already put in $1.25? I've been "right" a few times like that.
