Default FTP has frozen my account with 83000 in it, beatme1/sillysal style

I am a, for the most part, HU limit player. I have been playing basically exclusively at Full Tilt for the last 5 months.

I've done well, climbed up the limits, and mostly for the last few months have played 30/60 and 50/100, though occasionally playing a bit higher or lower depending.

I went to bed this morning at approximately 12AM, and woke up at 7AM. I leave my computer on 'sleep' mode logged in(I use Windows Vista), which I always assumed left my account logged in, to prevent the possibility of other people logging into my account, although I guess the connection gets cut off though, which I never knew. I don't think this part is that important though.

So, I wake up, turn on the comp., and my account balance says 0.00 when I go to the cashier. I stare in bewilderment for a few moments, then close the client and reopen it, open Keypass where my password is stored, and try logging in, and get 'User ID/PW wrong.' I try using the 'forgotten password' feature, and a new password is sent to my e-mail address, but this does not let me log into my account, which gives me the same error prompt.

Right after this, I send off like 20 e-mails to FT, which none get answered for hours, so I make a new account and through observer chat, get help from a FTP pro, who sends off a message to their support.

A few hours later, I get this response:

Hello Ryan,

For your security, we have temporarily suspended your Full Tilt Poker
account while our Investigations Team performs a thorough review. Please
understand that this is a security measure meant to help protect you and
your account.

We will be contacting you via email shortly. During this time you will
be unable to log in to the Full Tilt Poker software. If we require more
time to investigate, we will notify you and keep you updated. All funds
in your account will remain dormant until our investigation is complete.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns please let us
know and we will be happy to address them.

Regards,

Sean H

I am aware of the sillysal/beatme1 situation, having read the threads in their entirety.

A few points of interest:

The highest I've played is 200/400. I am a HUGE GAME SELECTION NIT. ANY of the HU regulars there can attest to this. I have only played this high once. The opponent was 'UboughmyBMW,' who I think I had a nice edge against, so I sat.

Unfortunately, this was at a 6 max table, I would obviously have preferred a HU table, so a few people joined. I got only about 10-20 hands against him, but played 3, 4, and even 5 handed for an additional 60 or so hands.

In total, I played about 80 or so hands of 200/400, the highest I've ever played, and I am playing 3, 4, and 5 handed when I am primarily a HU player. I make this point because it's not something a HU bot would ever do.

2. I don't keep my chat on. I asked support to take it off at least twice, because I have a bad temper at the tables. This is huge +EV for me.

I'll add in additional stuff soon, too frustrated etc., and there is another thread in BBV about this, answering things there too.

The problem just became solved. Nothing else necessary here. Thread can be locked. Thanks.

Out of curiosity what did the problem end up being? And more importantly did you get your funds back?

I am in the same situation and my account has not been reopened yet. At least they could respond to my emails when I have mid 5 figures sitting in their hands. I am also a regular at 15-30 through 100-200.

I'm I Killa U.

They really didn't give me a reason why it was reopened, just that my 'account review' shows that everything is fine now or something.

Sounds like you must've played with someone that was either trying to chip dump\chargeback CC deposit or received a chip dump from someone. The good thing is so long as your not involved you are always cleared. Glad to hear they straightened everything out for ya.
