Default 100NL re-popped AQ from SB vs LAG

Give up on the turn?

Villain is 31/25/1.75
I'm 33/22/3.6

I think I've only re-popped from the blinds once from the hundred or so hands we've played.

i think the 3bet PF raise is fine, it's almost 4x...UTG is loose enough so i do like a 3bet here in the first place...

bet a little less on flop...

turn decision is read dependent, like how has he played in these 3bets pots and fold to turn bet...we have a tight image, so i can see another barrel here, but dunno, i give up a lot too tbh against UTG

I agree the flop bet is probably a bit large, maybe something like $25 would be better given that with a big pair I'd be fishing for a call.

If we fire another barrel, how much do you bet? $95 in the pot, $98 behind.

Depends on how much we have behind I guess. Typically we'd have 7 outs here, so could call up to $40 ($288*7*2%) - in other words if we bet $57 or more we call shove, otherwise we can fold.

If I had a big pair here I'd bet around $50 to try to get a call. The trouble is, this time I obviously don't want a call. Does betting pot look a bit too bluffy?

I hate the idea of 3 betting, then betting the pot on this board only to give up on the turn. That said, I'm not sure I like a dbl barrel. You are going to get called light.

I would probaby just cbet less, or not at all.

3-betting is for value - he's raising 25% pre-flop and I'm way ahead of his range.

His hand doesn't look much like a big pair, although it could be. Looks more like 99 or something like that. There just aren't many hands that he can have that would want to stack off here. Still, it's pretty clear I'm behind so might be a good idea to shut down.
