Bet/fold or check/call turn? Check/call or check/fold river? And how does your river action depend on your turn action?

I'd bet the turn vs this guy. As played, I doubt he is the type to valuebet a worse pocket pair, or to bluff again (for 1/2 pot) with a missed draw. I think you need to fold to the river bet without a read.

was gonna write pretty much exactly the same thing as Moss. Just adding that he could well be passive with draws on the flop, hence the turn bet.

I bet the turn unless I have reason to believe he's a floater, I would call the river as played since his line doesn't make a lot sense to me unless he has a flopped set.

I think I agree with the turn bet vs this guy. And no, I don't think he's a floater. My reasoning for checking was he won't call worse made hands 76s/77/88. And by check/calling the turn I thought I'd minimize the risk of getting bluffed on the river, a bet I didn't plan to pay off. He's less likely to bluff a busted draw on the river if I check and psik off a bluff on the turn ime. I'm afraid I'm just out-thinking myself though.

Fwiw his bet riv % was 32. Pretty high...
