Is the WPO going to be in Biloxi? Or do you mean the schedule for in Tunica at the Gold Strike? I've been waiting for the schedule to make plans.

I was at the Beau this summer and the poker room is very nice. I was dissapointed that there was only one LHE game at that was only 3/6. I was told that the higher limit games basically dried up after Katrina. Any truth to that? I realize that you'll spread the games that players want, but do you foresee any higher LHE games coming back to the Beau? Is there any particular time or event that would feature these games?

Best of luck in your new post. I'll introduce myself when the wife and I get back. Incidentally, we paid for the entire trip with her slot play and came home with an extra 3k to boot. She's lookin' forward to getting back to "her machine."

Well, speaking personally, the Beau card room is excellent, and is the only poker room in the region I'd choose to be at, all other things being equal. I had a good time for the GCPC. I wound up being unlucky in the event I entered, but the cash games were juicy. Harrah's in NO is much closer, but I'd probably weight the Beau higher if I were planning on staying overnight.
