My friend's dad in 7th grade called jerking it "fasting." He'd ask his son if he was gonna go fast and do the jerking motion with his hand. Kinda creepy actually.

I also don't think it's bigotry to be making fun of people who are fasting. Bigotry implies extreme prejudice and intolerance. I'm sure OP doesn't hate Catholics - he's just having a laugh.

bigotry was too strong a word, i agree. still, creating a worthless thread just to demean some people's beliefs is worthy of a * IMO.

what's the difference with this post and one in which someone posts "post here if you're jewish, i need a good laugh.?" it's completely useless, not funny, and a waste of board space.
