BillD,

I gave villain the top half of hands, and stoved it:

Text results appended to pokerstove.txt

Board:
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 54.826% 54.40% 00.42% 593383220 4623441.00 { 6h6s }
Hand 1: 45.174% 44.75% 00.42% 488107546 4623441.00 { 33+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J4s+, T6s+, 96s+, 86s+, 76s, 65s, A2o+, K5o+, Q7o+, J7o+, T7o+, 98o }

It looks like we're pretty healthy, considering we have position, positive equity, and that the blinds give us a nice bonus

Preflop is good, but watch out. Just because he's opening light certainly doesn't mean he's capping light. Frequently the range for that kind of player goes up very rapidly at bets beyond a PF raise + continuation bets go in. Personally I think the crux of this hand is how often you think he folds 99 or something.

It's a freeshowdown raise, lots of things have to be in play.

Enough of the time he has to either fold a better hand or one with lots of outs.
We don't need to call a 3bet or a 3bet is never coming.
If our only options were call/fold we would calldown and feel good about it.

I am clearly done with the hand if he puts one more bet into the pot. If he calls the turn, I am checking behind on the river. If he raises the turn, my cards fly into the muck...

I like it. This shuts down any possible draws /and or live cards he can hit and gives you a chance to take it down right here. He may also even fold a better pp.

I guess your folding if 3-bet.

Pre-flop, fold or cold call if you think you others will come in behind you.

I think a 3-bet is pretty standard here.
