FYI, we went to Bobby Flay and it was delicious, especially the lobster-avocado cocktail. I also had a very tasty bone-in ribeye with chiles.

Thanks to all for your recommendations.

if you don't care about paying $90 for some steak, homestead ain't too bad. i'd rather get some fatburger at the foodcourt.

Ate at Old Homestead last year - thought it was fine sort of like the chains like Mortons or Smith & Wollenskys - bit expensive for what you get but a good steak nonethless. Given OPs review on Bobby Flay will try that out and report back.

Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill in Caesar's Place gave me gas. I am talking about gas that makes White Castle gas a footnote in the annals of flatulence.

its bobby flay in an absolute landslide, not even close, lots of meals (30+) at both places and bobby flay is much better in all aspects except if you get seated at the little two person tables (your fault tho ask for a seat in the back obv) - service better, meat better, wine guy better... homestead had a good run

I haven't had Homestead....but Bobby Flay's was fantastic. Great service, outstanding food. I agree with previous poster..the lobster avacado cocktail is a must.

Not cheap, but worth it.

Ruth Chris is a mile or so from the Trop and is on Atlantic Ave in The Walk outlet center area.

Perhaps you're thinking of The Palm?
