if you are playing a pot with someone beside you, sunglasses allow you to perform whats known as an EXTRA INTENSE staredown. Thats something both myself and many other experts value.

A while back limon talked about some gangster sunglasses that weren't too tinted for indoors so you could still see your cards...anyone?

ps I know wearing sunglasses is toolish but I'm told by many that my eyes give away way too much, so how else will i win a bracelet this year?

[/ QUOTE ]

alfred dunhill gradient tint...i dont think they are made anymore. sunglasses are a must just in case someone is exposing their holecards and you need to snaek peaks w/o the rest of the table knowing.

do eyes really give away that much? how so? are there "sick" body language readers that are just nasty live players? can someone who plays a ton of live poker break down how often they rely on physical tells or recount a time when someone pwned them with a physical read?

and post gangsta sunglasses pics

[/ QUOTE ]

Sometimes I accidentally look at my chips when I connect on the flop. I can usually act the same way regardless, but sometimes it's very hard to control the eyes. Wearing shades kinda makes me feel a bit more at ease when running a bluff live (jk, I've never ran a bluff live, but I'm more likely to almost run a bluff w/ the locs).

I'm not leveling and I know that's a massive tell. That was my point about eye tells, they're pretty reliable on the people who aren't reverse telling.

I meant I can usually not look at my chips and just stare at the table the same way I would regardless of connecting/missing, but sometimes I mess up and glance at my chips when I hit the board hard. Thus, glasses are a decent investment.

Sometimes when the cocktail waitress with the perfect rack walks by at the Palms I remove my glasses and look..

That is my tell, she has been warned

I've only been to one casino in my life, but the TS chicks have awesome outfits that push up their racks. They only have like 4 insanely hot drink girls, though.
