I know we're 5-ish hours out, but I've been stoked all day. The show overall is great, and it seemed like the latter episodes finally picked up some heavy steam. Let's hope they don't start flat for the second half of Season 1. No spoilers in this thread, I guess.

It's very engrossing, the episodes got better towards the end.. it's still really cheesy at some points, (see: Indian guy narrating beginning and end with philosophy about evolution) but it's like a train wreck. You can't turn away.

no where as good as LOST and 24 ...
really cheesy and corny sometimes but for some reason its very enjoyable to watch... and most of the characters individually are kinda annoying .. except Hiro of course

lost has blown for this whole season, i dont get how people havent realized that yet.. they will never answer questions because they dont ever want to end the show.
