Blind Battle, Interesting hand
I have been at the table for about twenty minutes, in that time, been caught on a huge river bluff bet with 4 high, and also stacked a guy after I raised 46s preflop and caught a straight against a guy tryin to slowplay QQ. Anyway, haven't had too much history at all with this opponent, but he seems like a pretty standard TAG -type player.
3/6 NL, villian has 600, I cover PREFLOP: Folded around to SB who raises to $28 total, I call with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (Sometimes reraise, sometimes not. Been active lately with a loose image, so just called) FLOP (Pot = $56): A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villian leads for $30, Hero? I would like a flop line, as well as a plan for the turn if he reraises or calls a flop raise. Thanks. |

Re: Blind Battle, Interesting hand
You seem to want to raise this flop lead? I'm not sure what better hands call or worse hands fold. I just call the flop and maybe let him double barrel with something like 99d/TTd, KQ, JTd or a random suited ace. I think raising the flop just lets him off the hook easily with weak holdings and gets two pair/set shoved down your throat.

Re: Blind Battle, Interesting hand
it does look like a flop you'd want to raise... calling works though, because his worse hands will be mad scared if you raise. (Unless he has like AxTd or something)
