Updates: I told a european friend about this. He spammed me with obligatory "stupid american" remarks for like a half hour.

Another friend said he knew a guy paid what amounted to 2k to talk to a girl and then ended up getting beaten up when he refused to pay.

Oh, and the IRS sent a letter to my house yesterday. My dad says they are trying to audit me. I'm writing this 300 euros off somehow.

This happened to a couple guys on my rugby team when we were in Paris, getting stuck with a 600 euro bill. They left 50 euros and then booked it, apparently with a crazy Moroccan guy chasing them onto the street.

Is this some European thing about buying strippers drinks? I'm all about putting some 1's and 5's in their thong or throwing it on stage while they rub their snatch in my face, but I've never bothered buying them drinks.

i think i win strip club beat.

me and a friend hammered go into a strip club. we each get a girl for about (this was in UK but ill put in $$) $250 each. fine. we are smashed. neither of us can read the drinks menu. so i ask for a bottle of champagne. he then asks which one. as im hammered i say the finest. he takes my credit card (you can see where this leads....) and im certain never gave me a receipt or told me how much. i check online banking a few days later (which was yesterday), they charged me $3,600. i can just remember having about one sip of it.
