Default AK pf shoving 5NL

I just started to play at 5NL and I don't know if hands like these should be played or if we should wait for better spots.

If you like flipping go for it. I usually wait for better spots but if you think that UTG+1 is able to pull some moves, why not call him. He is shortstacked, which ( talking from my experience ) makes a call acceptable.

Your 3-bet was way too small. Make a real 3-bet and then call his shove because you're priced in at that point.
