convert please.

it depends what you think he's capable of here. if he would turn a made hand into a bluff here (ie. something like 88), i dont mind c/c-ing anything here.

he shouldnt really ever have AK. KK i think checks behind a ton as does JJ but as stated, i dont think that him bluffing is outside the realm of possibilities. if he's capabable of floating here on the flop, i heavily consider playing for stacks if he bets.

but, if he's a cookie cutter and won't show up with anything aside from AA/KK/Ax[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]/etc then you can c/f.

Pretty villain dependant (call 3bet range, floating in 3bet pots IP). Given that we hold QQ I'd sat AQ can be discounted. Dunno if he calls AJ here though.
If he hasn't shown a tendency of floating overs in position in 3bet pots I don't expect him to have an A here often.

So usually this is a c/c to get value from 99-JJ for me.

And yeah 40ish bet on the flop pls.

As played, I checked and he bet $86.

Hero?

If we call, how are we responding to a shove on a blank river (6-8 imo)?

I would rather check vs this dude, and valuebet the river if he checks it back. If we bet, we are putting in well over half our stack, so it sucks to b/f especially when a bet only scares out all worse hands. OTOH, I think he rarely has a hand to raise if you bet the turn. Given that, I also doubt he'll have a hand to bet this turn with if you check.

So it's unlikely that we can get any value out of worse hands with a turn bet, and I don't think there are many drawing hands in his range to protect against. Check, and hope for a blank river card for him to pay off on.

spot on imo
