Default Survivor winner?

I saw Jean Robert (aka "Bobby") playing a big white chip game at Commerce the other day. Did he win Survivor and now finally has money to play or has another idiot (Joe Cassidy) lent him cash again?

I met an attorney recently who knew Bobby very well back when he was a big club promoter in Hollywood. She told me someone recently offered her $500 to have Bobby served. Apparently, he owes someone a bunch of money. She turned down the offer as she still considers him a friend.

Would it be good for poker if he won Survivor? At least another bad player would have money. He seems to be as well liked on the show as he is among other poker players, not very....

I like how in survivor, Bellande is treated as the grossest most disliked survivor ever. Because of that there's no way he'll win and if he does the contract says that you don't get paid until the votes are revealed live on tv. As for the actual winner I can't see who can possibly win besides todd, as he and Bellande are the only ones not just their for the experience.

Survivor winners are revealed live. So at best he knows he won 100K if he was final 2.

Years (5-6) ago, I played with him in a ring LH game at Hollywood Park. He had a big 'fro then and normally would stroll into the cardoom in mid-morning (3-5AM) I would imagine after he was through with the clubs for the night.

He is not a bad guy I don't think, but certianly knows how to rub some people the wrong way. As for his playing, too loose in my opinion especially playing LH. That style works better for him playing NLH.
