Default is this ever a +ev situation from a decent lag?

Villain is a roughly 30/20 over a decent set of hands and is fairly aggressive post flop. I should have bet flop but he had been c-betting whenever checked to him so i went for a check raise. Anyway is this +ev calling here? He is a good lag, or good at least for 10nl.

yeah, I get it in on the turn for sure. looks like a T from him too, probably not as nice. No flush. As played, I call AI on river.

edit: this looks like BBV

How were you going for a check-raise last to act? As others said, please bet this flop. His turn raise was an awesome opportunity for you to get it in. Get the money in earlier and river is an easy decision.

Your play postflop is extremely weak.

The Flop:
If you always check these hands, people will know that your cbets are never strong. Gotta bet the strong hands too. Never be afraid to take down a pot. You we're the aggressor preflop, so a CBET here makes sense. I like .50 - .60 here.

Turn:
As stated, the turn was not a check raise by you, it was a check raise by him. I agree with the other posters, that you need to be re-raising back, not calling behind. I like bumping it to $7 right there as the implied odds at $6 make this a profitable call for a flush draw, while $7 pushes it past the threshold.

As played, you have no idea where you are. In this case I would ask my three year old what to do in this spot, its as good an opinion as any with the information available and the way the hand was played.
