Default Stuck in the middle with AJ

Villain took the freecard, smells like a flush draw. I called just in case the Villain was splashing around, planning to fold to raise.

Any fold that river bet.

Also, who 3 bets the flop? Or donks turn?

I'm going to 3-bet the flop in this spot because I'm out of position and don't want to give free cards, I probably have the best hand and there is another guy trapped in the middle. I rarely make blocking bets in short-handed poker. I just don't see free card plays that often, although this would be a good spot for this guy to make one. As played I would probably play the river the same. 0.5/1 not good enough for you anymore?

i'd consider betting the turn against unknowns once the flush draw didn't come in. the rest is fine.

I think i 3 bet flop lead turn with utg coldcalling two, but it really depends on my read on co. Against an unknown i think calling the reraise is ok.

I'd just go ahead and 3-bet the flop being OOP and with the pot 3-ways.

River is fine. Dont ever put in more than 1 bet here.

Hehe. I still play it. Usually mix it up between 5/1, 1-2, with an occasional dip into 2-4.

I guess my reasoning for not 3 betting is because since these nuts love to jam their draws, I didn't want to have a tough decision if he caps, which he might do since there's another player in, because you know, he's getting "value."

Do you call the other player's river bet, knowing there's a good chance this thing's getting raised?

If he wants to jam your hand for you then let him. If he then takes a free card just laugh. I'm losing one bet on this river basically no matter how the hand plays out. I'm anxious to get back to 1/2 myself. It's great playing when everybody has aggression factors of 3+.

Yeah, they're psychotic over there. This guy had a dog avatar, which is why I gave him a little more respect as they tend to be tight. It was either set, 2 pair, or FD.

don't give a freecard on turn. 3-bet flop lead turn. As played on flop bet/call turn.
