if you define " 2p2ers" as anyone with an internet connection, I would estimate that close to 100% of online winners are 2p2ers.

but then again, if by "2p2ers" he means anyone who owns a horse with its penis on its forehead, I'm guessing it would be around 0%

if you changed 'online winners' to 'online winners at 200NL and above (and equivalent for other formats)', or 'online winners that make 5 figures or more a year', then it has to be at least 80%.

if you are including people that play once a fortnight and are small winners at low limits, or live players, then who knows

I think this is a bit too generous. If you tighten restrictions a bit i bet you could get it near 80%, using your definition I would guess 60-70%.

Also I bet if you took the lifetime winnings/winrate of people in this thread with high guesses, and compared it to those who made low guesses, the highs would be ahead.

I'm assuming you're including lurkers, if you only mean posters then it's impossible to say.

[/ QUOTE ]

Uh, wouldn't the opposite be true? It's impossible to tell how many lurkers are winners, but we would have a better chance of figuring out how many posters are winners.

25% max.

so many good foreign players who don't know about 2+2. So many uNL players who are winners but post on other forums, or not at all.

I'd say winning mid/high players (NL1000+) prolly 30%

under that prolly 10% max.

I play PLO8 on Stars and FTP, formerly played it on Party Poker too. For micro through highstakes, i'd say 10-20% max of winning O8 players are on 2+2. Number of lurkers is much higher though.

The player pool in online O8 is too small, so most players have no interest in talking strategy.
