[/ QUOTE ] She was awful in star wars. You can't really blame it all on the director even if the dialogue and scenes he used/shot were spectacularly horrible. A certain amount of blame goes on him for sure, but there have been many great actors who have given solid performances in horribly directed movies.

[/ QUOTE ] Star Wars wasn't just horribly directed. It was horrible everything. I thought all the actors looked really uncomfortable. Also, I'd like an example of a movie that sucked as bad as the recent Star Wars' did...but had a lead actor that made you go "Wow!" I don't know of one.
