Limit hold 'em is hours of boredom interspersed with minutes of pure boredom.

This is a play on the Brunson NL quote:

"NLHE is hours of boredom interspersed with moments of sheer terror" or something like this.

There a good one from Brad Daugherty - I think.

Something like:

"19 hours of that tournament were like watching paint dry, 3 were even worse than that, but about half an hour of it was like bungee jumping from a helicopter into a lake of flaming eels"

He sells No-Limit poker books. It's like asking Sean Hanninity what he thinks of people who are Liberal, non-Chrisitian, non-pee-fetishists, or French.

People that talk trash about limit hold em usually suck at poker.

I hear lots of 2-4 calling stations saying stuff like:

I'll add: Limit holdem is about praying for the combination of good cards and running well.

Limit holdem is a card catching contest for math nerds!

Limit is more about waiting on great starting hands and being aggressive with them and hoping they hold up. No limit is more about putting your opponent on a hand, then using this information to extract more $$$ or push them off, depending where you fall.

If you like to wait for big hands and playing a mathmatical game then limit will be your game. If you like a more psychological game the no limit if for you.

Personally, I like shoots and ladders. Now there's excitement.

NL is def. just as mathematical fyi

After playing NL for a long time, I find it incredibly boring and enjoy playing limit way more.
