This looks more like AJ or possibly even J9 to me than KT, and if I had been playing this hand, I think I would probably have folded the river in the heat of battle.

However, getting ~ 10:1 , I think that I am now persuaded to call, as I think thats its possible that KT might bet the river.

no...the pot isnt so big that people can call with any draws, so you are just losing value by checking and giving everyone a possible free card...

He probably has AJ but I pay an unknown in this spot. When I was playing 2/4 Stars I noticed a lot of people checkraising the turn with top pair + mediocre or weak kicker
