Default 200NL; flops 2nd nuts in a 4 betting situation. how do i extract most?

villian is hokkai... he runs 24/19/3.5 over 1k hands. its been 5 handed for a while and he's been 3 betting me light so i decide to 4 bet him with AK and if he 5 bet shove i was planning to fold because we are 200bb deep. what is the best way to play this hand? how can i extract the most from him? i was planning to check all the way to the river but since were pretty deep i wanted to get it all in.

i like how you played it so far...i think you just have to bet turn shove river and hope to get called down by JJ or whatever, because if you keep checking he won't bet for you with anything besides an ace or king.

I think I bet a little bit less on the turn, maybe around 65. If villain has an Ace it might intice him to call. I don't think we get much outta villain on this hand.

I actually think its best to check again on the turn trying to rep that you were sick of his light 3 bets and decided to make a stand.

I think the check then lead turn line makes your hand more transparent then check/check.

you aren't going to make any money on this hand. but in anycase $99 is way too much to bet. wtf is he supposed to call with for that price?

bet like $56 at the most or check again.

If you check again he might think "he might have QQ/JJ here and is so petrified and done with the hand" so it becomes green light time and he tries to form a courageous bluff.

By the way I'm risking value out of his hand, whatever it is and I'm checking the river if we check/call the turn in order for him to continue on and try to move us off our hand.

I think once you check the flop, you should check the turn again. You just aren't going to stack him here.

I hate your flop check, and then turm bet. It's way too much transparent.. I mean, are you really betting this turn that way w/ AQ, QQ, JJ etc? You'd want to check it down. You'd only be doing this w/ AA, KK, and AK. If you're going to check the flop I think you need to check all the way to try and induce a bluff. Personally I might overbet the flop and try and rep a bluff... But you probably wouldn't 4-bet light, and this probably wouldn't succeed either.

It may just be a case in which you cannot extract any more value.

I think realistically, I like just checking down and letting him try and steal with suited connectors or a small pocket pair.

No one is going to be dumb enough to get it all in here without AK+.
